Biography

Magda Varoucha

Magda Varoucha is a multifaceted singer-songwriter and performer, self-taught on piano and guitar, with a rich creative vein, a distinctive vocal colour and characteristic melodic turns drawn from both traditional Greek and Western song.

In 2010 she worked with Alexandros Hatzis, and two years later she shared the stage with Kostas Hatzis.

She officially entered the recording world with her first single, «Όνειρα» (“Dreams”), with lyrics and music by Aris Kleisouras. Since then she has released many distinctive personal works, singles and guest appearances, as well as a full-length album titled «28 και κάτι» (“28 and Something”).

She has collaborated with great artists such as Babis Stokas, Vasilis Papakonstantinou, Christos Thiveos, Matoula Zamani and others.

A milestone in her career was her performance at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus in 2025, in a concert dedicated to Manos Hadjidakis and Mikis Theodorakis.

Her song «Δε σε χαρίζω» (“I Won’t Give You Away”) is travelling across radio stations and digital platforms, bringing a fresh character with its own signature and identity, while her latest releases also include «Ώρα να ’ρθεις» (“Time for You to Come”) and

«Κυριακή» (“Sunday”).

For the past two years she has been working with the talented Christos Adamopoulos. Together they have released the song «Και τώρα τα δύο μας» (“And Now the Two of Us”), and with their inspired show «Ακομπλεξ-άριστα» they have been touring Greece and Cyprus with one sold-out performance after another.
